It ‘sa bit like the 16-year-old boy living next door to you: 1 minute, he is five feet seven, the next is 6’1. A minute is a pretty boy trying to dribble a basketball, the next superstar point guard. One minute, he begged to continue under the blankets for five minutes, the eyes, the next you’re ducking through a day full of interviews, recording, touring and race.

With its casual attitude and school charm, Chris Brown could easily be someone you know. With his incredible voice and a debut CD with intelligent lyrics, hypnotic tracks and impeccable voices laced, is someone the world will know soon.

Chris is not part of an A-list producer. Nor did one of those famous urban music centers like New York tribes, Compton or the ATL. Straight from Tappahannock, VA — population 2000 – Chris Brown proves that real talent, persistence and charisma still have a place in the music industry.

If you listen to Chris ’16-year-old voice and you’re trying to draw comparisons: Michael Jackson, Tevin Campbell and Usher. But look a little ‘longer and those comparisons begin to dissipate, as it is clear that, while Chris certainly channels the creativity of those who came before him, certainly has a style, a taste and a place in music, all are his own.

His debut CD Young Love takes us on a journey through the malls, parties and local, as a teenager Chris covers a variety of subjects: A girl who is dying to hit the dance floor. A girl who has another man. A girl who has to bring totally headlong in love. And ‘an album of children, young girls, young love.

The first single, produced by Scott Storch “Run It” is an irresistible up-tempo dance joint with an attention-grabbing hook. “It ‘s basically saying, a girl’ If you are the party itself, let me see how you’re feeling down, but if your husband is here, tell me first. So basically it’s runnin ‘they say. Go ahead, do your thing “.

You are just big enough to go around outside at night!” But what I do not know is that kids our age really do have feelings for each other, then this song is basically said that older people, although we’re young, we still love. I believe all kids can relate to it. ”

From voice acrobatic “Your Man Is Not Me” on the tender, ponderous “Is This Love” (both produced by The Underdogs) to the bad ‘Poppin’ (a tribute to the physical characteristics of a young woman), Chris Brown explores the many colors of life and love as a young man, and does so without too childish or too vulgar. “You do not want to go out sexually,” he explains. “I’m young. I want to talk to people my age and older people. This gives me time to grow with my audience so you can make this change, as I am about 20. But now I do not wanna be too kiddie, but I will not be too great. ”

When selecting songs for Young Love, Chris said he simply relied on his sense of what was hot and what was really for him and his colleagues. “When I hear these songs, I feel something. I know I can identify with them. I take away from the box and I am an artist from the audience and critique myself.”

Chris has his musical initiation early, because of what he refers to the taste “eclectic” and his parents to get inspired by the sounds of his favorites: Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, Anita Baker and Aretha Franklin .

But like most boys, Chris was soon drawn to rap and was certain that he was the first emcee to put Tappahannock on the map. “I was rapping,” he recalls. “I knew I could sing until I was 11 or 12 like me, my mother heard me singing around the house and she has said.? ‘What are you doing you can really sing” Then I started going to school for sing for the girls. ”

Until he was 13, Chris realized that his voice more than a woman hero. And so, did when he started his mother, his son hooks with different manufacturers. “When I walked in and began, there have been ups and downs but I loved it and I knew I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”
